SBY Asks KPU and Bawaslu to Be Fair in Election Executors
Siaran Rakyat. Sudirman Said Director of Material and Debate of BPN Prabowo-Sandi said, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) Ketum Democratic Party sent a message for election executors.
Sudirman said, if SBY claimed that the KPU and Bawaslu must be fair and impartial. This was conveyed by SBY when carrying out a meeting with Prabowo-Sandi in his residence in the Mega Kuningan area, South Jakarta.
"In my opinion, it would be better if the state administrators, KPU, Bawaslu were really neutral, said Pak SBY," said Sudirman Said.
Sudirman also said, during the meeting, SBY did indeed discuss a lot of injustices which had recently occurred in Indonesia. Sudirman also said, the injustice of a number of state institutions was also not clearly visible.
Sudirman asserted, SBY immediately leaned on a message to the KPU and Bawaslu to be fair. The message also relates to the polemic of the two fingers of concern regarding the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan when attending the Gerinda Party event some time ago.
"There are so many regional heads who do that, nothing is done. Actually, this is a manifestation of this atmosphere of injustice and the people watching it. Hopefully the election organizers will be neutral," said Sudirman
During the meeting Prabowo-Sandi and SBY also talked about the first debate which will be held on January 17, 2019. Many suggestions were conveyed by SBY to Prabowo-Sandi.
Although many helped to adhere to the presidential debate, Sudirman said, it could not yet be confirmed whether SBY would come at the first debate in the presidential election. Sudirman said that it was clear that the leaders of the Coalition Party had been invited to come during the debate.
"It was not discussed (about SBY's arrival) but the exact invitation will be given to the entire coalition and we will see it later," he said.
Ahmad Muzani Deputy Chairperson of BPN Prabowo-Sandi said, SBY encouraged many inputs and messages to Prabowo-Sandi. SBY mandated that Prabowo-Sandi stay healthy and fir ahead and during the debate.
"In addition to the talk about the debate, he also requested that the candidate pair stay fit and healthy, keep the condition," Ahmad Muzani said.
During the Meeting, Prabowo-Sandi and SBY talked a lot about issues adrift of the first debate points. They talked about current issues in the community.
"SBY gave interesting input in the end not only the people in the debate room but the voters were all Indonesian people who were in the debate room," he concluded.
Not only that, SBY also offered advice on how to attract as much sympathy and voters' voices as possible when the debate took place.
